HALIFAX, NS  JULY 6, 2021 --  DermaEnvy Skincare, a growing Canadian Laser, Skincare and Medical Aesthetics franchise with 8 clinics across Atlantic Canada and Ontario, is expanding on it’s home-base of Halifax by relocating and expanding their existing Halifax clinic and it’s franchise support center to Bayer’s Lake.

The relocating of the clinic to 201 Chain Lake Drive will strategically position the skincare chain amongst the country's biggest brand names in shopping, retail and dining. The space is currently under construction and will boast a larger store front as well as additional treatment rooms to support the ongoing growth of the existing Halifax clinic. This location will also be home to a new franchise support center and training hub for onboarding franchisees and team members.

This investment allows both the clinic, currently located on Joseph Howe Drive, as well as the existing franchise support center located on Bedford Highway, to be situated all under one roof. The addition of an in-house training hub will help support the DermaEnvy Academy Online Learning Platform that was launched earlier this year in an effort to support the continued education of team members and franchisees.

“We are looking forward to bringing our concept to Bayer’s Lake which will increase our appointment capacity and allow us to grow our Halifax team by four to six members in the coming weeks.” said Cohen MacInnis, President of Wellness Brands Canada Inc. and the franchisor of the DermaEnvy Skincare brand. The relocated clinic will offer additional treatment rooms, additional team members, increased clinic hours and a larger and more diverse selection of retail products.

“Our consumers and clients are already either living, working or shopping in the Bayer’s Lake area. Pair that with the area’s proven track record of success among retailers, rapidly growing multi-unit residential community and the currently-in-development outpatient centre, and one can expect the area to prosper and advance as a retail and service hub for Halifax in the coming years.” said Alicia Apesteguy, Director of Marketing.

Bayer’s Lake will play host to the soft launch of the chain’s latest innovation - its DermascriptionTM Bar. Pairing the knowledgeable team of in-clinic Medical Aestheticians with the latest in technology to offer assistance with and hyper-customization of client’s product selection, skincare routines and targeted solutions catering to their unique skin type and goals. Using 3D Imaging Skin Analysis Technology and UV photography to closely analyze skin damage and hyperpigmentation under the skin's surface, the DermaEnvy Skincare team will be able to recommend treatment and post care solutions tailored to all clients and all skin types.

“Despite the operational and logistical challenges of the pandemic, Team DermaEnvy has remained determined, loyal and adaptable and it is due to the strength of our team that we have continued to prosper. Our brand’s growth is visible both in the local Halifax market as well as with the recent openings of clinics in Charlottetown PEI, St John’s NL and Sydney NS within the past 12 months,” said MacInnis.
