Our PhotoFacial Treatment, also known as Photo Rejuvenation or Skin Rejuvenation Treatment, is a procedure where intense pulse light is used to improve a variety of skin imperfections and benign skin conditions.
It is a safe and non-invasive procedure that can be tailored to your unique skin type and the specific skin condition to provide superior cosmetic results and therefore outstanding satisfaction.
There is no downtime; therefore, you may resume your normal activities immediately following the Photo Rejuvenation treatment. A popular treatment for common skin conditions such as acne, sun spots, sun damaged skin, aging skin and hyperpigmentation.

What to Expect During Your Photofacial Treatment
Your journey at DermaEnvy Skincare begins with a personalized skin consultation to ensure IPL is the right solution for your skin type and concerns. Once your treatment plan is confirmed, we’ll begin by cleansing your skin and applying a cooling ultrasound gel to promote even light distribution and protect your skin’s surface.
Protective eyewear is provided, and your provider will use the IPL handpiece to deliver precise pulses of light to the targeted areas. The sensation is often compared to a light snap from an elastic band, quick and manageable for most clients.
Treatments usually take between 10 and 30 minutes, depending on the size of the area. Afterward, we’ll gently remove any residual gel and apply SPF 30 to protect your skin. Since there's no recovery time, you can return to your daily routine immediately, just with fresher, clearer skin.

It is imperative that you avoid sun exposure and tanning beds for at least 4 weeks prior to your treatment. This is a must and no exceptions will be made.
Avoid applying self-tanner for 2 weeks prior to treatment.
Avoid alcohol for 2 days prior to treatment.
Inform us if you have taken Accutane (oral acne medication) in the past year.

Use SPF of at least 30 on the treatment area to protect the skin from sun exposure and potential sun damage.
Any redness or discomfort following the treatment will subside shortly, there is very little downtime with this procedure.
It may take several hours to a day before you begin to notice the results of the treatment. It may take a few days to see results, this varies from treatment-to-treatment.
If proper steps are taken to care for the skin between and after your PhotoFacial/Skin Rejuvenation treatments, results can last up to a year or even longer. Wear plenty of sunscreen and consistently follow your at-home skincare routine.
Small capillaries may appear larger may appear larger immediately following the treatment but this will fade quickly.
It is rare, but mild bruising or swelling may occur, but this too will dissipate shortly.

Pregnancy: Treatments are not recommended during pregnancy.
Skin Issues: We can’t treat areas with infections, wounds, or recent sunburns.
Health Conditions: Let us know if you have bleeding disorders, severe vein issues, or a history of keloid scarring.
Photosensitivity: Certain medications or conditions that make skin sensitive to light may require postponing treatment.

A cold gel is usually applied to the area to be treated, and you may be given dark glasses to protect your eyes from the bright light. The smooth glass surface of the IPL and piece is gently applied to your skin and pulses of light are applied. You may feel a slight sting, like snapping of a small rubber band.
